Temporary Accommodation Services

 

Our motorhomes are used as mobile accommodation and service delivery solutions in regional and remote Australia & New Zealand.

This supports sectors in need of mobile, temporary and rapidly deployed accommodation such as disaster relief agencies, infrastructure projects, film productions and healthcare outreach. We have assisted private companies and government agencies responding to emergency housing needs in times of crisis and provide mobile accommodation and services for rural and remote projects.

We can deliver vehicles all over in Australia & New Zealand and arrange deployment within 24 hours in most cases. Our service including site set-up, 24/7 customer careline and vehicle & part replacement. Our vehicles are fully self-contained, have a variety of different set ups and can cater for up to 6 people to meet the scale and scope of all temporary accommodation needs.

Our History

We are a proud Australian company with Apollo vehicles built in Brisbane. Apollo was founded by the Trouchet family in 1985 and grew from humble beginnings in a Brisbane backyard when Gus and Carolyn Trouchet purchased a single pop-top campervan to rent out. By 2020, Apollo was the largest privately owned motorhome company in Australia. In 2023, Apollo merged with NZX listed company, Tourism Holdings Limited (thl), which has expanded the size and capability of our fleet.

We now have access to 34 brands globally, and a significant rental fleet in Australia across ten branch locations. This scale and geographic diversity make thl the market leader amongst the mobile accommodation sector. Across our team, we have more than 35 years' experience and the ability to mobilise hundreds of vehicles in Australia.

Since 2020, our partners include NSW Department of Health, Fulton Hogan, Rheinmetall Defense, Warner Bros, St John of God Ambulance and DFFH (Victoria).

Our Rental Options

Self Contained Motorhomes

Our fully self-contained motorhomes include air conditioning, cooking facilities (stovetop and microwave), a fridge, shower, toilet, and a dinette/living area. Our vehicles come with the comforts of home, including bedding, linen, crockery, and cutlery. They can operate away from powered sites and can also be plugged into generators via an adaptor.

Our motorhomes are built using high quality materials and craftsmanship, with our fleet for mobile accommodation being less than four years old. We have partnerships with leading chassis importers including Mercedes, Toyota, Iveco and LDV with locally manufactured housing components being developed and added in our Brisbane and Melbourne factories. This process has been refined and improved for nearly forty years.

There are 240V power points to charge your laptop and each RV has plenty of space to spread out your paperwork. Vehicles have showers and toilets, with grey and blackwater containment.

4 Wheel Drives

Our fleet of 4WD are Toyota Hiluxes with the following options. Please get in touch to discuss the availability of these.

  • Our Outback 4WD features a slide-out camp kitchen unit in the back and a ground tent supplied. 
  • The Safari 4WD has a rooftop tent with detachable annex.
  • The 4WD Maverick has the comfort of a double bed inside the vehicle and a pop-top roof for extra internal height and an exterior kitchen.

Caravans

If you prefer a caravan / towable unit – please get in touch with us directly to discuss this. We have a range of fleet available depending on location and can accommodate all requests. Our caravan brands include Windsor, Coromal, Active, DesignRV and Adria.
